Mission

NUPOC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council has a two-fold mission: (1) to promote a sense of safety and belonging for all who enter NUPOC and (2) to prepare MPO students to provide compassionate, equitable care to all future patients.

Outreach Programs

NUPOC offers various outreach initiatives to engage with the diverse student communities in nearby educational institutions and programs across the Chicago Metro Area. NUPOC is dedicated to promoting awareness of the fascinating field of Prosthetics and Orthotics, in line with the program's principles of fostering diversity, equity, inclusivity, and active community involvement.

NUPOC also partners with Northwestern University’s Physical Therapy & Human Movement Sciences Program to promote STEM education and increase awareness of Allied Health Fields to students.
